For a stand-up comedian the relentless pressure of performing gigs night after night is exhausting enough.

But intrepid funny man Dave Gorman is throwing in a gruelling bike ride each day too.

The creator of the BBC hit series 'Genius' and the documentary comedy, Are you Dave Gorman? will be arriving in the region as part of his latest tour - Sit Down, Pedal Pedal, Stop and Stand-up - in a bid to cycle and gig in the furthest East, West, North and South of the British isles.

In September he will be arriving by bike in Lowestoft from Ipswich and then cycling to the King's Lynn Corn Exchange before heading off to Peterborough the next day.

He will be cycling 1,500 miles in 33 days and performing 32 gigs.

As well as 2,000 seat theatres, Mr Gorman will be performing in village halls, barns and hotel function rooms.
