If you solemnly swear that you are up to no good and are aged over 18 then you can join Geek Social's Harry Potter themed mixed drink masterclass which will be taking place at Norwich Cathedral later this month.

The magical event, called Perilous Potions and Sippable Spells, follows on from the company's recent Game of Thrones themed wine-tasting at the Cathedral, which proved to be a big success, and is set to be an evening that will ensnare the senses as guests learn how to create a range of cocktails inspired by J.K. Rowling's hit franchise.

Event organiser, Linden Wilkinson, a former Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form student, said: 'We were looking for a way to host a really unique event based around cocktails, something about which our team is very passionate, and we were massively inspired by the recent release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to take that wizarding school theme and apply it to a cocktail masterclass. Our Potions Master will guide guests as they make some fantastic drinks in a fun and 'magical' environment. Our aim is to offer an experience where the drinks are as wondrous as they are delicious and guests will get to try our homemade Butterbeer along side a series of cocktails, one of which must be conjured up in a bubbling cauldron.'

Speaking of the choice of venue, he added: 'Norwich Cathedral was absolutely our first choice and we are very lucky to have a really good relationship with the team there. The building is beautiful, historic and really channels the idea of magic within its walls.'
