Cellist Laura van der Heijden will be joining the Academy of St Thomas for a concert at Norwich's St Andrew's Hall on Saturday.

Ms van der Heijden - who won the BBC Young Musician Competition in 2012 aged 15 and has performed with numerous orchestras - will perform the Cello Concerto in A minor by Saint-Saens.

The concert, which will be conducted by Christopher Adey, will begin with Sinfonietta in A major, Op. 5, by Prokofiev and it will conclude with Symphony No.3 in F major by Brahms.

The concert will start at 7.30pm.

The Academy of St Thomas was founded in 1973 and it currently promotes three concerts per year in the Norwich area.
