Veteran rock singer Bryan Ferry and the eighties chart-toppers Madness will today be unveiled as the latest names to sign up to perform at Blickling Hall this summer.

The former Roxy Music frontman, left, will take to the stage on July 13 and Madness on July 22 as part of Blickling's series of open air concerts.

"It's my era and I think Madness will be a lot of fun," said Shirley Donovan, marketing and events manager at Blickling.

"Bryan Ferry was here in 2000 and he was very popular."

More acts are yet to be announced for the concert series, which will span two weekends in July. Blickling's 10th anniversary party on July 14 - which will celebrate a decade of the venue being used to stage pop concerts with acts including Gloria Gaynor, Paul Young, Belinda Carlisle and Bananarama - has already sold out.

Tickets for Madness and Bryan Ferry go on sale Friday 23 March and can be purchased online at www.summernightsonline.
