The Broken Piano Show cabaret night celebrates its first birthday at Norwich Arts Centre on Wednesday with another eclectic night of local music, comedy and poetry, from 8pm.
The quarterly show has become a springboard for local live talent, showcasing acts from across the region and beyond.
Now in its fifth outing at Norwich Arts Centre, the upcoming show in September hosts a number of renowned regional performers.
Among the line-up is The ****** Deal Puppet Theatre Company, who received five-star reviews for their run at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival - and the show is definitely one for adults only.
Supplying the music for the evening is solo act Girl in a Thunderbolt, former Sta Prest frontman Dic York and the show's lounge-core 'house band' The Ferries, with spoken word from former Aisle 16 member Yanny Mac, who has performed at Glastonbury, Edinburgh and Latitude Festivals, and South-end based wordsmith Jo Overfield.
Jo resides in Essex, she is a writer, producer, DJ, comedy sketch performer and poet with a penchant for the silly side of life.
