Popular London-based singing group the Hanover Choir will be performing works by composers including Rachmaninov and Elgar as part of a concert being held at St Peter's Church, Sheringham, at 6.30pm on Saturday.

Founded 70 years ago, the choir, which meets weekly near St Paul's Cathedral, is led by musical director Teri Longdon, who appeared as a panellist on the second series of the Gareth Malone BBC series The Choir.

Ms Longdon, who is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, has performed with her professional ensemble, The Templar Scholars, in front of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Presiden Xi Jinping of China, also appearing on BBC TV and Radio 5 Live.

Tickets for Saturday's concert, priced £5, are available on the door, with 'posh' refreshments also on offer.
