Autumn Medley concerts for church projects in Holt and West Runton

North Norfolk Chamber Opera is performing two concerts this month to raise funds for churches in Holt and West Runton.

The concerts, entitled Autumn Medley, will feature songs from George Gershwin, Ivor Novello and West Side Story as well as opera choruses by Mozart and a selection of arias and duets. The chamber opera will be joined by guest tenor Leonard Bernstein.

The first concert will take place at Holy Trinity Church, West Runton on Friday, September 28 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost 5 on the door, including refreshments.

The second performance will be at St Andrew's Church, Holt, on September 29 from 7.30pm. There will be a bar and a retiring collection.

Musical director Maggi Warren said: 'The programme is a delightful mix of some of our favourites music. In both cases were are doing it for the churches, which have building projects they want to complete. Holy Trinity wants to build an indoor toilet and St Andrew's has got a lot of major building works to do.'
