Archive films of days gone by on the Norfolk coast are being brought to life with original live music at an event in Norwich next month.
The Octagon Chapel, in Colegate, will host Sounds of Silents: Memories of the Coast on October 20. The event is being presented by Cinema City Education in partnership with Norwich Sound and Vision and the British Film Institute's Britain on Film project.
The films are from the East Anglian Film Archive and will be accompanied by soundtracks created by Roger Eno, Broads, Milly Hirst and Eastern Seaboard.
Guy Martin, Cinema City Education manager said: 'We think people will agree that the films we've selected are beautiful, nostalgic, funny, touching and sometimes surprising.'
Sounds of Silents: Memories of the Coast is on Friday, October 20 at 7pm in the Octagon Chapel. To book, visit www.norfolkcoastonfilm.eventbrite.co.uk or www.cinemacityeducation.org.uk
