Calling all food lovers! From chocolate-themed afternoon teas to pop-up pie shops, there are a whole host of fantastic foodie events taking place across the region over the next few weeks. Here's a look at our pick of the bunch...

• Valetine's Day Cake and Beer Pairing

For one night only Figbar and BrewDog will be coming together for a special event. The dessert wizards and the beer masters are running a cake and beer pairing evening at Brewdog's Queen Street bar in Norwich on February 14 from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Dessert expert Jamie Garbutt has come up with five sweet and savoury courses that have been paired with five different beers. Tickets cost £25 and booking is essential.

• Pudding and Prosecco Night

The Elveden Estate are hosting a night of complete and utter indulgence this month, with an evening dedicated to puddings and prosecco. Taking place in the Courtyard on Friday, February 16 visitors will start the evening with a deli board of local cheeses, charcuterie, olives and homemade bread, followed by a glass of prosecco and a feast of six different desserts created by Elveden chefs. Entertainment will also be on offer through the evening, with music performed by classically trained vocalist, Kathryn Buck who covers a variety of decades and styles, predominantly the 30s, 40s and 50s. The event kicks off at 7.30pm with tickets costing £29.95 per person.

• Pork and Pints Supper Club

St Andrews Brew House in Norwich are having a Pork and Pints Supper Club on February 21 from 7pm. Guests will enjoy five local pork courses paired with five beers. A brewer will take you through each course over the duration of the evening. Spaces cost £30 per person.

• Pizza and Pug Party

One for the kids! Baytree House in Lowestoft are hosting a pizza and pug party on Sunday, February 25 between 4.30pm and 6.30pm where guests can bring their child to meet pugs and tuck in to some tasty homemade pizza. Tickets are £10 for adults and £5.50 for children, the price includes the pizza and soft drinks. Spaces are limited so booking is required.

• A night of Mixology, edible flowers and more

Wannabe mixologists will be able to enjoy a special event at The Library Restaurant in Norwich - with a flowery twist. Held in collaboration with many Norfolk businesses, the event is scheduled for February 28 at 6.30pm. Final details are yet to be confirmed.

• Pop-Up Pie Shop

Walsingham Farms Shop and Woodforde's Brewery will be holding a pop-up pie shop on Norwich Market during National Pie Week. Running from March 5-10 the shop, located at stall 12, will feature a range of locally produced pies. Visitors will be able to tuck in to hot pies and meet the team - including chef Charlie Hodson.

• Chocoholic Afternoon Tea

A second entry on the list from Baytree House in Lowestoft, this time the establishment are putting on a chocolate themed afternoon tea, complete with unlimited hot and cold drinks. The event, at 3pm on March 9 and 2pm on March 24, will feature savoury homecooked treats and a selection of chocolate delights. Tickets are £11.95 per person or £14.95 with a glass of chocolate Baileys.

• Dining in the dark

Brasted's in Framingham Pigot have teamed up with The Norfolk and Norwich Association of the Blind (NNAB) to bring customers an exciting culinary event with a difference. Held on Friday, March 16, Dining in the Dark will take foodies on a sensory journey, where they are able to experience taste, sound and smell like never before. Blindfolds are optional. Tickets cost £40 per person for the three course dinner, with all profits going to the NNAB.

• Asian Fusion Food Night

The Banham Barrel in Banham are hosting an Asian Fusion Food night on March 24, offering a range of Vietnamese, Thai and Indian sharing dishes. Lots of different tapas style food will be available to try and guests will receive a drink of their choice on arrival. Places are limited and cost £15.

• Maples Tea Room

NUA Textile Design student Jessica Gower and UEA Business student Natalie Hicks have dreamed of running their own tea room since they were 11 years old. Now, 10 years on the pair are about to launch their own pop-up afternoon tea service in Norwich. Taking place at Studio 20 on Wensum Street over March 24-25, Maples Tea Room will offer customers freshly baked scones, a selection of savouries as well as a range of cakes and other baked goods.
