Camille O'Sullivan, Norwich Playhouse

Irish singer Camille O'Sullivan brings the sound of the emerald isle to the fine city this Friday with her unique and soulful sound. The tour, called the Carny Dream, debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016 to rave reviews, and she has performed at sell-out venues around the world including Sydney Opera House and the Royal Albert Hall in London. Tickets are £20, and the show is suitable for 16 and overs.
St Patrick's Day Irish Tap Takeover, Norwich Tap House

Beer lovers are in luck this Friday at the Tap House, located on Redwell Street, with Irish beers available from midday. Expect beers from Eight Degrees Brewing, Brehon Brewhouse, Blacks Brewery, The White Hag Irish Brewing Co, and many more. There will even be Guinness hats on offer to those who want to celebrate St Paddy's in style.
Irish Society of East Anglia Dinner Dance, Dunston Hall

The Irish Society of East Anglia invites you to their annual dinner dance, with entertainment provided by O'Connor and Hennigan Irish Dance Academy, and Irish music all night. Tickets are £37.50 for members and £40 for non members. The group, created in 1891, marked their 125th anniversary last year, and celebrates Irish people who live in the region. There is also a luncheon taking place at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts on Wednesday, March 15.
St Patrick's Day with The Racketones, Pig & Whistle

After reopening at the end of February as a jazz and roots music bar, and renaming as Flamingo Jazz Lounge, local two piece band The Racketones are performing at the bar on All Saint's Green this Friday. The duo play a range of crowd pleasing songs with an energetic and folk vibe that wouldn't be out of place in an Irish pub.
St Patrick's Day Bar Crawl, Mercy Norwich

If you're looking for a lively celebration this Friday, there is a bar crawl taking place across the city. Drinks at the venues will be heavily discounted and include entry into final destination Cabana Club, the Friday night club night at Mercy on Prince of Wales Road. Plus, the first 250 in the club get a free hat. Early Bird tickets start at £3 for students, and £6 for standard tickets. Venues TBA.
Roy Hart, Temple Bar

If you want an authentic Irish experience this St Patrick's Day, head to Irish pub Temple Bar on Unthank Road, named after the famous Dublin cultural quarter, with live music from Roy Hart from 5pm onwards. An accordian, banjo, and fiddle have been known to feature in Hart's previous gigs.
