Canaries goalkeeper Declan Rudd has been named in the England Under-19s squad for next month's friendly match with the Netherlands.
Rudd, who turned 19 last month, is part of head coach Noel Blake's 18-man squad which travels to Waalwijk on March 2 - when he is unlikely to miss any club commitments. It will be the first get-together of the year ahead of the squad's European U19 Championship Elite Round qualifiers in May, against Ukraine, Republic Of Ireland and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Rudd - who has three Under-19 caps and also represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 level - will be challenged for the number one shirt by Portsmouth goalkeeper Liam O'Brien, called up for the first time.
Rudd kept a clean sheet for City's reserves against Luton yesterday, earning praise from second string boss Ian Crook, who said: 'I thought he was excellent, I really did.'
