Wymondham recorded an excellent win on an emotional afternoon for everyone connected with the club.
This was the final competitive league game at Tuttles Lane before the move next season to a new ground.
First blood was drawn when well presented ball by the forwards allowed youngster Anwar Bouliouta to score out wide. From the restart Josh Cousins made a long clearance kick and Bouliouta managed to kick the ball on over the line and touch down. With their tails up good lineout work resulted in a driving maul which turned into a ruck and young Ethan Holmwood broke through to score.
The Wymondham scrum was extremely dominant, allowing the backs to release Chris Collins-Reed for a score and the bonus point.
The second half was different story, with Wymondham battling to repel a strong attack. This they did and Alex Wigney almost stretched the home lead after a fine break from stalwart second row Josh Wright.
