Three young kart racers from Wymondham College have qualified for the British Schools' Karting Championship final.

The trio of 14-year-olds finished ranked second against schools based in East Anglia, qualifying them for entry into the regional area final held recently at Daytona Kart Circuit in Milton Keynes.

Jenson Holloway, Finn Pharaoh and Joshua Adams, then produced an outright first ranking in very wet conditions and all roads now lead to the national final at Whilton Mill in Northamptonshire on Saturday, June 30, where the regional winners will compete against teams that have qualified from the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland for the national crown.

Wymondham College head of school, Dan Browning, said: 'An amazing achievement for such a dedicated group of students, I wish them every success for the national finals.'
