WYMONDHAM Town Ladies played their first game for over two months last Sunday and came up against a very well-organised King's Lynn side who are third in the table.
Sina started in goal, with a 4-4-2 formation, with Helen and Natalie starting up front for the first time.
Wymondham started well in the early stages and were pressing for the first 10 minutes, trying to find the early goal. King's Lynn took the lead midway through the first half when the ball was headed away, but was smashed into the back of the net by a midfielder. They got a second soon after, and their third came right at the end of the half.
After a change of tactics, Wymondham came out for the second half, showing passion, effort and commitment in the 3-5-2 formation, where Becky Brown was impressing in the holding role, breaking up King's Lynn attacks and starting Wymondham attacks.
Wymondham gave a great account of themselves in the second half and although King's Lynn scored, there were many positives after having not played for so long.
Amanda made her long-awaited return outfield, impressing for the last 15 minutes when she came on. Helen Crisp was named player of the match for her never-ending chasing, closing down and persistence.
