Wroxham boss Damian Hilton is on the look out for fresh firepower ahead of today's FA Vase first round tie against Whitton United.

Hitman Ben Thompson is unavailable for the cup game ahead of taking up a job offer with Conference heavyweights Oxford United.

“This weekend he's arranging accommodation before starting his new job,” said Hilton. “Unfortunately it means he has just two more games with us before ending his season. It will be difficult to replace a player of his calibre, but we are on the lookout for another striker.

“We are not underestimating our visitors, but if we take our chances as we have been doing this term, I think we shall make the next round.”

Midfielder Justin Fox is also unavailable, but defender Josh Carus (foot) returns. Dereham boss Rob Taylor could ring the changes after a midweek home league defeat to Kirkley & Pakefield. James Wilson is back in the squad along with talented striker Osiris Gomes. Greg Devlin (foot) is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.

Wisbech caretaker boss Roy McManus wants the Fenmen to show heart at Histon Reserves in the Ridgeons Premier.

Joint bosses Ian Jones and Mel Mattless resigned after a humiliating 9-0 defeat at Soham last week.

“I have looked into the faces of the players in the dressing room during the past week and talked to them about the Soham defeat,” said McManus. “I have made it clear that people are paying good money to watch them and they should wear the shirt with pride. I have already had issues with players' availability but they have been up front with me and that is all I can ask.”

Norwich United travel to Harwich & Parkeston without injured striker Paul Atkins while Adam Ferguson is also a doubt for the Planters.

King's Lynn Reserves include first team squad defenders Greg Lake and Greg Crane for the trip to Harwich. Lowestoft duo Jamie Godbold and Ross King miss Ipswich Wanderers' Crown Meadow visit. Marcus Saunders is suspended. Craig Lewis (leg) is an injury doubt but Reece Hunn and Matty Potter return to the squad.
