Wroxham dropped their first points of the season in a goalless draw with a resolute Kirkley & Pakefield at Trafford Park.

The second-placed Yachtsmen dominated for long spells but were unable to break down the Royals' stubborn resistance. Gavin Lemmon had the hosts' best chance six minutes after the interval, but saw his effort from inside the area come back off the inside of a post.

The visitors had little more than half-chances and efforts from distance to show from their attacking efforts, with one shot from inside the area easy for Wroxham keeper Scott Howie.

Meanwhile, Wisbech came through an exciting derby with March to win 3-2 and book their place in the FA Cup first qualifying round, where they will host Wroxham. Watched by a crowd of 830, the Fenmen were given a good run for their money by their neighbours, who had held them to a 1-1 draw in front of an even bigger crowd on Saturday.
