Wroxham have signed former Norwich City youngster Reiss Awuah.

The 22-year-old centre-back left City at the end of his two year contract in 2016, without making a first team appearance, although he was included on the bench for the Capital One Cup clash with Crawley in August 2014.

Wroxham boss Jamie Godbold has also registered himself as a player for the rest of the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division season as cover following the departure of Jordan King and Matthew Cook to Norwich CBS and Yelverton respectively.

Chairman Lee Robson said: 'Obviously, we want to finish as high up the table as possible but we have more than one eye on next season. If we can keep the players together, keep developing our younger players and add a bit of quality then we have something promising to work with.'

Wroxham are 11th in the table and will look to finish above the likes of Gorleston (eighth) and Thetford (12th) as Norfolk's highest-placed team.
