Norwich Dragons showed no mercy on struggling visitors Tunbridge Wells, coasting home 6-2 to make it four straight Premier Division wins.

The hosts started in impressive fashon and soon found themselves two goals up through short corners. The first came from Hayley Toleman who, under pressure from the defence, managed to coolly slot the ball past the keeper. The second minutes later came from a superb Stacey Lee deflection.

Dragons didn't sit back and played some attractive hockey, creating some good chances. They were rewarded when the ball moved from one end of the pitch to the other and Rachel King was able to pick out Olivia Thomas who finished in style to put her side three up going into half-time.

Dragons started the second half where they left off, passing the ball around, and scored another team goal, this time through Nat Beal, who was at the back post to slot the ball home.

Tunbridge Wells didn't give up and were rewarded with two quick goals, one through a short corner and the other via a penalty flick which Siobhan Cleeve was unlucky to not to keep out.

Buoyed by player-of-the-match Niamh Lowe Davis, who worked tirelessly in defence and attack, Dragons pushed forward again and scored their fifth through Emma Tabrett who calmly finished another short corner with a great drag shot. The home side were still not finished and Toleman scored another, making it four goal in two games.

Harleston Magpies II maintained their sequence of positive results as they drew 1-1 at Bedford but it was another bad day for Dereham, who have struggled since promotion last season. Their ninth defeat in 10 matches was a heavy one as they went down 7-0 at Cambridge University.

In Division One Norwich Dragons II visited leaders Saffron Walden and recorded an excellent 2-2 draw.

Saffron Walden start strongly, moving the ball around at pace, but goalkeeper Amy Forse and the back line of Ally Windsor-Waite, Angela Murgatroyd and Rowan York-Smith held firm.

Somewhat against the run of play Dragons opened the scoring when, from a long corner, Sophie Thomas found Gail Thomas, who drilled the ball into Marcy Windsor-Waite, who slotted the ball into the corner.

Laura Goodbun then showed her great pace and skill to get down the right and fire in a cross, which Laura Shreeve was just inches away from.

Eventually, however, there was a home break down the right, which led to a smart ball across the D which was dispatched at the far post to make it 1-1 at half-time.

Walden started the second periodbrightly again and a bit of individual brilliance saw them take the lead.

Dragons then had a goal disallowed when Pip Howes' free-hit was converted following a goalmouth scramble.

But they refused to be downhearted and equalised two minutes from time when Shreeve took on a defender and unleashed a rocket, which smashed against the back board.

Norwich City lost for just the second time this season, going down 3-1 at City of Peterborough, but remain just one point off top spot in third position.

In Division 2NE Lowestoft remain three points behind leaders Bury St Edmunds – who thrashed Yarmouth 7-0 – when they saw off visitors Watton 4-0. North Norfolk are fourth after winning 4-1 at Ipswich ES.
