Norwich Dragons' mini-revival in the Premier Division came to a halt on Saturday when they went down 3-0 at Sevenoaks II.

Dragons made the long journey to Kent in good spirits after winning two on the trot to move away from the foot of the table, but were unable to make it a hat-trick of victories.

With a number of regulars unavailable the visitors gave a top-flight debut to Under-18 star Lucy Morton who turned in an impressive performance.

Sevenoaks were only one up at the break but sealed the points in the second half after several chances for the Dragons came and went. Holly Reding was the star performer whie Lara Taylor was a tower of strength throughout.

Harleston Magpies II moved two points clear at the top of Division One North after beating St Neots 2-0 at Weybread to make it eight wins out of eight.

Closest rivals Norwich City dropped points for only the second time this season as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Newmarket.

It was not one of City's better performances but they did well to come away with a point after going behind to a deflected goal with just eight minutes to play.

The equaliser came a little over three minutes later when Foung Chung poked the ball home after it had run loose from a penalty corner to leave City two points behind Magpies, having played one more game. Alice Gill was City's player of the match.

Dereham notched up their biggest win of the season by seeing off visitors Watton 6-1 while Lowestoft returned from Colchester with a solid 1-1 draw.

Dereham's seconds surrendered top spot to Ipswich and East Suffolk in Division 2NE after losing 3-1 at their Norwich City counterparts. Hannah Jarvis (2) and Milly Brown got the goals for City while Emily Waldron was player of the match.

The eye-catching scoreline in this section came at The Den, with Norwich Dragons II hammering Framlingham 11-2.

Dragons never looked back from the moment Marcy Windsor-Waite fired them in front with the goal of the game after just four minutes. Hannah Hardy led the way with four goals, including two from penalty strokes, while Jess Bennett (2), Gail Thomas, Laura Ward, Harriett Green and, on her second team debut, Kate McKenna, were also on target,
