King's Lynn face a tough test as they take on Wolverhampton at Monmore Green this evening (7.30).

Wolves have been in terrific form at home this season with convincing wins against Rye House, and then title favourites Poole last week. The Stars will come up against former skipper Rory Schlein – who was nothing short of sensational against the Pirates with a stunning 15-point maximum.

Meanwhile, the Norfolk outfit will be eager to get back on track after poor weather forced their home fixture against Poole to be postponed last Wednesday.

The Stars travel to the Midlands at full-strength with Lewis Rose battling through the pain barrier after sustaining a wrist injury against Belle Vue two weeks ago.

British youngster Robert Lambert has made a solid start to his second season as Stars' skipper after scoring 25 points in their two opening fixtures of the new campaign, including a maximum against the Aces.

Lambert then teamed up with former Wolves' rider Niels-Kristian Iversen to secure their side a well-deserved away point against League champions Swindon last time out. It's a busy week for the 20-year-old Stars' captain, who will defend his British Under-21 crown just 24-hours after the visit to Monmore.

Meanwhile, Aussie racer Ty Proctor makes his first return to his former club after spending six seasons with Wolverhampton between 2009 and 2014.

Proctor said: 'It's going to be good going back to Monmore Green because I have a lot of experience of racing there with the years I spent riding for Wolverhampton. I think that I am a different rider now from when I was at Monmore. Back then, my career was just drifting and I didn't have the drive or determination. When Wolves sacked me, it gave me the kick up the backside I needed because I had to make changes if I wanted to make something of my career.'

Wolverhampton: Jacob Thorssell, Kyle Howarth, Cameron Heeps, Rory Schlein, Sam Masters, Nathan Greaves, Ashley Morris.

King's Lynn: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Lewis Rose, Ty Proctor, Thomas Jorgensen, Robert Lambert, Kasper Andersen, Lewis Kerr.
