Witches ditch Fakenham

Great Witchingham beat Fakenham by four wickets in an entertaining Norfolk Twenty20 Cup clash at Horsford. Fakenham won the toss and made 172 for six with good contributions from Stephen Gray (65), Ben Harvey (44) and Will Dunger (42).

But Witchingham got there with two balls to spare thanks to a stunning 115 from Tom Collishaw, which included nine sixes. Despite the carnage, Fakenham's under-16 bowler Yin Lo took two wickets for 19 in his four overs.

• Vauxhall Mallards fell seven short in a Norfolk Twenty20 Cup run chase against tournament hosts Horsford in Tuesday night's Group B match. Horsford, who won the toss, made 149 for seven led by Chris Spencely (35 not out) and Michael Warnes (24 not out).

Carl Amos (63) led the reply, aided by David Turner (28), but Mallards finished on 142 for six as home bowlers Ryan Findlay and Chris Brown conceded only 19 and 22 runs, respectively, from their four overs.
