The wet weather conditions put paid to Wisbech Town’s trip to Daventry at the weekend – but it means legs should be fresher for the Easter Monday match of the day.

The Fenmen travel across the border into Lincolnshire to face Holbeach United. Town are currently second in the table, six points behind Yaxley but with three games in hand. Yaxley are without a game, while third-placed Newport Pagnell Town are away to Cogenhoe United.

Their bank holiday hosts are fourth – three points behind Wisbech but from one game more – having thumped St Andrews 4-0 away on Saturday.

Theirs was one of only three Premier League games played as the weather took its toll on the UCL programme – the other games saw Leicester Nirvana beat Northampton Sileby Rangers 9-0 and Deeping rangers draw 2-2 at home to Cogenhoe United.

The weather is likely to be a factor again, with the forecast for more rain suggesting that supporters should check before travelling.
