Wisbech edged to a vital win in their last home game of the season to boost their London NE3 survival hopes.
A try from Josh Searle and four Mark Laws' penalties was enough to make it three wins from four for Cliff Humphreys' in-form side.
The Harecroft Road club remain only two points above the drop zone however because while fellow strugglers Canvey Island lost, they were overtaken by Sudbury who annihilated Harlow 73-24 to pick up a maximum five-point victory.
Captain David Wadsley, who suffered a suspected dislocated shoulder during the match, said: 'Every one of the 18 players out of their skins to get the result we deserved.'
