To celebrate a sizzling summer ahead at Newmarket Nights, Newmarket Racecourses has teamed up with the Eastern Daily Press to offer 10 lucky music fans chance to see Texas at Newmarket Nights on Friday June 24.

Here come the summer sounds of Texas! To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Newmarket Nights, Newmarket Racecourses has teamed up with the EDP to offer one lucky winner a 'Meet and Greet' with Texas when they perform at the venue on Friday June 24.

The lucky first-prize winner will have an exclusive chance to meet the band before the gig.

Ten runners up will win a pair of tickets to the concert.

Texas have previously performed at Newmarket Nights in 2006 to a sell-out crowd of 22,000 racegoers. They have released 10 studio albums featuring some of their best know hits I Don't Want A Lover, Summer Sun, Black Eyed Boy and Say What You Want.

The evening is set to be a highlight of the summer social calendar, the perfect blend of early evening horse racing with a spectacular open air concert.

The closing date for this competition is Monday June 20. No cash alternative will be offered. Tickets must be used at Texas' performance at Newmarket Racecourses on Friday June 24, 2011. The 'Meet and Greet' is for one winner plus a friend. In the unlikely event that the Meet and Greet has to be cancelled, an alternative prize will be arranged by the Racecourse.
