Division One's top two from last week played out a high-scoring match.

Hockwold, who won by 20 runs, batting first and scored 225-4 with opener Anthony Ruddick carrying his bat for 63 and Euan Gilmour scoring 68. David Spencer took 4-39 as Denver’s innings closed on 205-9. The defeated team’s CGM man-of-the-match was Daniel Cornwell.

Opener Perry Dawson hit an unbeaten 101 as Castle Rising reached 193-5. Matt Taylor (78) and Nick Castellan (58 not out) put on 130 runs for the fifth wicket but couldn’t quite see Hillington to victory as they still needed five runs to win when the overs ran out.

Chris Smith took 5-11 as nine-man Northwold were bowled out for 64 with only Jason Plumpton getting in to double figures with 35. Joe Peveritt hit an unbeaten 43 as Sandringham ran out winners by nine wickets.

Kieran Herbert took 3-0 as eight-man Heacham were bowled out for 43. Snettisham completed a seven-wicket victory in the 12th over.

In a low-scoring match, Division Two Sandringham A scored 101 all out. Peter Crisp top scored with 40 and Cameron Bear, with 5-14, helped bowl Narborough A all out for 91 to clinch a 10-run victory.

Stuart Merritt, with 87no, and Ben Wilkinson (75no) put on 135 for the fourth wicket as Gooderstone reached 212-3. Andy Dixon then took 4-4 as Fakenham thirds were bowled out for just 19.

Holt were unable to raise a team against Downham B and so forfeited the match. The football season meant neither club had the use of their home ground, so the Castle Acre v Hospital match has been rescheduled for August 29.

In Division Three, Castle Rising A were bowled out for 73 and Dersingham A went on to complete a six-wicket victory in the 24th over. Andy Rust was unbeaten on 42 as Gooderstone A reached 113 all out with Paul Ingram taking 4-11. Connor Grief scored 53 as Snettisham A ran out winners by six wickets.

Tony Exley scored 59 as Swafham A reached 167-9 with Paul Kennedy Jnr taking 4-24 for Gayton. Jack Coggles (4-15) dismissed the top four batsmen as Gayton were bowled out for 82. Denver A were unable to raise a team against Bircham A.
