Leaders Bircham suffered their first Division One defeat of 2014 to reigning champions Snettisham.

Adam Daniels took 4-28 and Damion Twiddy 3-32 as Bircham were restricted to 149-8 with Shaun Fisher top scoring with an unbeaten 40. Carlos Greeves took 3-29 and Robbie Preston 3-56 but Snettisham still won by four wickets.

Castle Rising scored 214-8 with good contributions from M Rust (38) and Ollie Denton (31). James Hurst took 4-43 for Sandringham. James Banham carried his bat for 104 but could not quite see his team to victory as they lost by four runs.

Matt Taylor top scored with 37 as Hillington posted 151-7. He then took 3-13 and Sary Rhama 3-16 as Denver were dismissed for 76. Michael Edwards took 4-40 and Tom Brown 3-45 as Heacham were dismissed for 119. It was still too many for Castle Acre as Tom Williams took 3-9 and S Azam 3-20 as Acre were dismissed for 49.

Division Two leaders Holt cruised to an eight-wicket win against 10-man Gayton. Mark Scase with 3-3 and Marcus Mears 3-7 did the damage with the ball as Gayton were bowled for 39. Northwold scored 181-9 with good contributions from M Glover (45) and M Butcher (39). Kevin Bandy took 3-25 and Andrew Boughen 3-30 for Gooderstone. Stephen Carter smashed 74 but Ady Seymour with 3-28 and David English with 3-30 saw Gooderstone's innings finish on 135 all out.

Hockwold ended Narborough A's unbeaten start with a five-wicket win. Peter Green top scored with 65 as they posted 156-8 with David Spencer taking 3-59. Roy Bland scored 58 as Hockwold reached their target. Keith Williams scored 33 and Adi Nicol 30 as Sandringham A scored 143-8 with Jamie Bowler taking 3-38. James Buhlemann took 3-34 but couldn't prevent Downham B reaching the victory target with 38 from Adam Morley.

Division Three Thornham are now the only unbeaten team in the League as they beat Denver II by 120 runs. Christopher Burgess top scored with 38 to help them reach 195-9. Peter O'Connor took 4-12 to help restrict Denver to 75-8.

Fakenham thirds remain in second after their 89-run victory against Beeston II.
