Premier B leaders Wensum E got one over nearest rivals Foxwood B with a 6-4 victory – helped by man of the match Steve Pendle, who weighed in with an impressive maximum.

Wensum F were overhauled by Harriers A and lost 1-9 while Taverham beat Electricity 6-4, Jamie McIntosh winning his usual three games, although Taverham managed to fight back and gain the three points.

Saint Faiths A managed three wins against Foxwood C to take a point but are now at the foot of the table. There was a fourth draw for Foxwood D, this time against Harriers C. Undefeated Ian Taylor beat Mel Rooney in a spectacular high tempo attacking encounter.

In Division One, Wensum G secured their first win of the season, beating Gothic C 6-4, with three singles wins by Nigel Metcalf. Foxwood E completed a four-point 8-2 win over CEYMS E, with maximums from both Kieran Brady and Stuart Cooper. Rosebery Road and Hospital Drifters had a close match, the visitors winning the doubles in five to claim the draw. A treble for Alan Pulsford as well as the doubles was the best performance of the evening.

There was a maximum for Foxwood G's Lindsay Horstead and two wins for NCC A's Ray Howe in another well-fought draw which also hinged on the doubles. Reliable Returners A remain unbeaten – their 6-4 win against Taverham B was a close result.

Dynamic Rams are the new leaders of Divisio Two, trouncing Gothic D 10-0 with an excellent display. Missionaries push into second spot on the same points, beating Wensum H, but Harriers drop down after two draws, against Taverham C and CEYMS F. New team The Originals finally caught up with some games, beating Dynamic Rams 6-4 and then taking an excellent four-pointer at home to Foxwood H. Returners B, inspired by an excellent maximum by Kevin Garner, saw off Taverham C's challenge 6-4, including a marathon singles with Kingsly Goffin and Phillip Moore. Ex-Choristers achieved an excellent four points, beating Fourbees B 9-1.

In Division Three, Thorpe St Andrew are in first place and are the only team with a 100pc record. They beat the Taverham F youngsters 10-0 to leave them second from bottom. Taverham D took all the points against Shelly Telly, winning 8-2 with teenager Michael Connolly and octogenarian Dennis Calver getting maximums.
