In the City League this week the top two had a week to forget. Sprowston were beaten 8-6 at Horsford Heroes despite winning three games and being 20 shots ahead with one game to finish. They lost that by 22 shots to hand the match points to Heroes.
Carters were beaten 12-2 at Anglian Windows and 11-3 at Costessey, who completed the double over them.
Horsford Heroes played a home double header, beating Jarrolds 12-2 but finding Horsford BC a different prospect. BC won two games, drew one and lost only one. However, R Frank's 26-9 win collected the match points for Heroes.
Thorpe Marriott are moving up the league fast after 12-2 wins over Felthorpe and Jarrolds. County Council lost 12-2 to First Bus while Deaf Sports beat Framingham Earl 14-0 and Taverham beat Anglian Windows 9-5.
