King's Lynn Town are FA Trophy underdogs again today - but don't expect Gary Setchell to be holding out for a replay.

The Linnets welcome Blue Square South Eastbourne Borough to The Walks as they look to bag their third cup upset of what is turning out to be a sensational season.

Higher-level Barwell and Carshalton Athletic have already been accounted for at home as Setchell's men forced their way into today's third qualifying round. Now, even though they've landed a side who play two leagues above them, the Linnets boss' ambitions haven't changed.

Setchell fancies his in-form team's chances at home - where they have only lost once this season, after-extra-time in the FA Cup - and doesn't want his players to hold back come 3pm.

The Lynn boss said: 'Without a doubt it would be our biggest win this season - in terms of the stature of the club we're playing.

'Coalville was a massive win in the league because it kept us in touch. Barwell was the biggest test so far, and we came through that. We know we need a bit of luck and for our big players to have big games.

'If that happens it won't be easy for Eastbourne. We're quietly confident and we're going in it to win it. We don't want to try and stay in the tie, and then try and take a replay to penalties. We're not looking for a draw. Our best chance of winning it is today.

'We've got a shot because we're at home. We'll try and play our game, we might have to adjust things once the match starts, but we'll be trying to win whatever we do. If the scores are deadlocked, just like they were against Loughborough and Halesowen, we'll be trying to win it.'

Evo-Stik Division One South Lynn are unbeaten in 13 games in all competitions and are enjoying a blistering start to life at Step Four of the non-league ladder.

With no midweek game, for the first time since Tuesday October 3, Setchell also had the chance this week to get some much-needed rest into his players. They only trained on Tuesday and the Linnets chief thinks the break will have done his charges the world of good.

He said: 'We are in good spirits, in good shape, and we only trained once this week so the lads have had four days rest and are coming into it feeling prepared.

'They know what is expected of them because we've got to reach new levels to win the game and Eastbourne to be a bit below par. If we play our A-game and stop them playing then we have a chance.

'It doesn't matter who we are playing mind. One thing we have is a winning mentality. Plus we've turned The Walks into a fortress and we've also put a few ghosts to be that we can't deliver in big games.'

Goalkeeper Danny Gay and Pat Bexfield are cup-tied. Defender Jason Lee is unavailable. Number two Alex Street will deputise in goal while Tom McLeish also comes into the squad.

Borough, managed by former Southampton player Tommy Widdrington, arrive in Norfolk sitting 16th in the table. They have scored just 14 goals in 15 league matches but have only conceded 19.
