Ashmanhaugh and Barton Wanderers have resumed their search for a player-coach after the man they selected decided against taking the role.
The experienced candidate pulled out for family reasons, leaving Wanderers facing the challenge of getting someone in place in good time for the new Norfolk Alliance season.
'We are looking for someone who is captaincy material and can be a figurehead for a young and talented team,' explained committee member Rob Humphries. 'We can offer a very attractive financial package and the aim is to get someone in place as soon as possible, because indoor nets are now under way and the season starts in a couple of months time.'
Wanderers will be aiming to bounce straight back to Division One this summer, having suffered successive relegations. Anyone who thinks they might fit the bill should email rob@worldsportsxchange.co.uk or call Rob on 07961 238397.
