Following the Easter break the Norfolk CIBA County League entered its final two rounds this weekend.

North Walsham A travelled to near neighbours Pinewood Park A where they won 91-66. With Ian Wones' rink winning 25-13, North Walsham finished their campaign by picking up six points to go top of the table. However Acle A need just three points from their two remaining games away to Browston A and at home to County Arts A to regain the title.

The other match in Division One saw Norfolk BC A beat Wymondham A at home 80-69, Philip Day's rink top scoring 29-16.

Division Two champions Lakeside A finished their season by losing away to second placed Acle B by 87 shots to 62. L Smith's rink for the home team won 23-12 to help Acle end Lakeside's long unbeaten run.

At the other end of the table Pentney A won at home to County Arts B 116-63, with Mike King's rink winning 37-15 to help Pentney take all seven points. However, Hunstanton A, despite losing away at Roundwood A by 80 shots to 73, gained enough points to keep them safely in Division Two for another season and send Pentney to their second successive relegation. The final match played in the division saw Lynnsport take third place in the table after they beat Diss A at home by 85 shots to 76.

In Division Three Old Hall kept up their push for promotion by beating North Walsham B by 85 shots to 65, Alan Willer's rink winning 23-12 to help Old Hall take seven points.
