That is because the wrestling shows will also be screened on Epic's internet pay-per-view service.

Men's action will be first up, from 7.30pm on Saturday, June 23, featuring a 30-man rumble, then the following day will feature women wrestlers from Bellatrix Female Warriors, from 6.30pm.

Among the nine fights on the bill for the women's show will be Norwich wrestler Sweet Saraya, otherwise known as Julia Knight, of Colman Road, Norwich.

The 23-year veteran, whose daughter Saraya-Jade has made it to the top of the wrestling business under the name of Paige with World Wrestling Entertainment in the USA, is a promoter of the Bellatrix brand.

At Bellatrix 6, as the show is being billed, she will take on Scotland's Carmel Jacob. 'I've watched Carmel for a long time and think she's very good,' said Mrs Knight. 'I'm looking to take her to the limit so I hope she gives as good as she gets.

She also added: 'Having this show on IPPV (internet pay-per-view) is the best way to showcase the best women wrestlers in Europe to the rest of the world in a purpose-built TV studio like Epic, which has the lights and sound systems a show like this would need.'

Another Norwich wrestler, Liberty, will be putting her RQW European Women's Championship belt on the line against debutante Shanna, nicknamed 'Portugal's Perfect Athlete'.

The Bellatrix British Championship will also be defended by 'The Fighting Irish' Rhia O'Reilly against top contender Erin Angel, from Southampton.

The men's show is being billed as Epic Ecounters 5 and is a show endorsed by the World Association of Wrestling (WAW), and will feature former WCW wrestler PN News.

WAW is run by Mrs Knight and her husband Ricky, out of Grappler's Gym on Ashbourne Industrial Estate in Mile Cross.

Tickets for the women's show range from £7 to £10 and are available from www.wawwuk.com or by calling 0800 046 8164 or 07880 077 512.

The tickets for the men's show start from £10 and include entry to the women's show on the Sunday. The tickets, and details of the pay-per-view service, are available at www.epic-tv.com
