Banger racing returns with a vengeance to Swaffham Raceway this Sunday with the St Valentine's Day Banger Massacre.

An all banger line-up features four different classes. Starting the day will be a special Valentine's chained pairs race where each combo has to be made up of one male and one female. The two cars will be chained together, one behind the other, however itup to each pairing to work out who should go at the front - ladies first?

Cawston's Chris Medler is the clear leader in the bangers winternational points with King's Lynn's Adam Godfrey and Gary Legrice (Norwich) battling it out for second and third places. Both the regular bangers and the ladies will have a full three-race programme as well as their chained pairs race and to end the day, there will be an ever popular destruction derby.

Boston's Lewis Stark leads the way in the junior bangers winter points but with 2009 points champion Jamie Plane (Great Yarmouth) and newcomer James Liqcuroice (Wisbech) in close contention, the youngsters will be battling all the way for the title. The action gets underway at 1pm and admission costs �10 adults, �5 concessions.
