Trophy holders make an instant exit

The holders of both the Myhill Trophy and the Cullington Cup were knocked out in the first round of the 2010 competitions. Sprowston Manor, who won last year's Myhill Trophy, were beaten seven down at Feltwell, while Cullington holder Royal Norwich were defeated 11 down at The Norfolk.

Sprowston Manor, who won last year's Myhill Trophy, were beaten seven down at Feltwell, while Cullington holder Royal Norwich were defeated 11 down at The Norfolk. Norfolk's newest club, Heacham Manor, entered both competitions and although they were knocked out they were delighted by their fighting show in the Myhill, where they were defeated by just two holes by Royal Cromer.
