Suspension-hit King's Lynn Town will be without three players for the visit of Nantwich Town.

Key men, left-back Jordan Yong and central midfielder Dan Quigley, are serving a one-match ban as is striker Massiah McDonald. And boss Gary Setchell admits their absence will be felt when the sides take to the pitch at The Walks.

Lynn's manager, who is likely to hand Jack McGovern a first start in place of the suspended Quigley, said: 'The suspensions will hand others a chance to stake their claim.

'There's no question, we will miss the three lads. I want a full quota of players to select from. Jack will deputise for Quigz and he's come here to play, not sit on the bench. It's a good opportunity for him and I'll make a decision as to who will play at left-back today.

'Chris Ward has done well at Dereham there, and has never let us down, so he could come in or I could move Jason Lee there and put someone else in at centre-back. I've got options.'

Back-to-back promoted Lynn sit seventh in the Evo-Stik Premier Division – five places above their opponents this afternoon. The Dabbers beat Lynn 2-0 in the reverse fixture on the opening day of the campaign and have won their last four league games. But Setchell feels they'll be facing a much improved Linnets' outfit come 3pm.

'We are learning all the time,' said Lynn's boss. 'No disrespect to the team that got beat at Nantwich but I'd expect the team we've got now to beat them. We didn't even really turn up on the day. Things had to change, which they have. We don't look overwhelmed by this level anymore.

'But I'm still baffled as to why we're only getting crowds of about 500. If it's because money's tight, then fair enough, but it can't be anything to do with the football. We've got some good players, we're playing some exciting football and we're scoring some great goals.

'It would be great to see even 600 to 650 there today. It gives the lads a boost and generates a better atmosphere. Plus, our budget is done on our gates. If fans want the club to progress, we need to get gates of more than 500, it's as simple as that.'
