All the latest from around the leagues before the transfer window closes at 5pm.

5.00pm: So there we have it. The end of the January transfer window. Officially that is and there is nothing big to report from Carrow; no last minute shock transfers I'm afraid.

The same can be said around the country, although there are still many transfers still up in the air. Adam Johnson's move to Manchester City is still not confirmed, while Ilan and Mido are still reportedly in talks with West Ham.

Benjani's and Aruna Dindane's futures are also still in question, with both being linked to Blackburn.

Wigan have made their second big signing of the day, adding to Victor Moses with Marcelo Moreno Martins from Shakhtar Donetsk on loan.

Further on down the league ladder and Bristol Rovers striker Daryl Duffy has moved to League One rivals Carlisle in a 3 month loan deal.

Watford striker Marvin Sordell has also joined Tranmere on a one month loan deal.

4.45pm: Still no news on the local scene, with earlier rumours of a Wes Hoolahan exit from Norwich seeming to have little or no substance.

Sunderland have reportedly captured the loan signing of Alan Hutton from Tottenham, whilst rumours surround Adam Johnson suggest that he is very close to securing his move to Manchester City.

The rumours surrounding Portsmouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic are still about, with Chelsea apparently joining in on the act to sign the shot-stopper.

4.30pm: Nothing of interest to report from Carrow Road as we enter the final half an hour.

Brentford have added to that loan capture of John Akinde with the extension of Tommy Smith's loan from Ipswich.

It also seems that the Tractor Boys have in fact secured the loan deal of Daryl Murphy from Sunderland, not David Healy as first thought.

In the Premier League, Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has said the capture of Victor Moses has signalled the club's high ambition. We shall just have to wait and see whether the hype can be followed up with performances.

Fulham have also completed the capture of 17-year-old defender Christopher Buchtmann from Liverpool, whilst also ruling themselves out of a move for James Beattie. It's been a busy day for the Cottagers.

4.15pm: Not a lot of time left now and it's still very flat in terms of Norwich City's movement in the market.

Reports suggest that Lens striker Aruna Dindane is having a medical at Blackburn Rovers, while Hull midfielder Peter Halmosi has moved to Hungarian side Szombathelyi Haladas. Good luck with that pronounciation.

In the Championship, the loan signings of Nyron Nosworthy and Toni Kallio to Sheffield United has been confirmed, while League One side Brentford have captured John Akinde from Bristol City.

4:00pm: So here it is, the hour of reckoning. Could there be a big transfer to fill the back pages tomorrow within the next 60 minutes? At Norwich, this seems to be getting less likely by the minute with nothing new to report.

To put this transfer window into perspective, the amount of money spent this time round is an estimated �21million. Compare that to the �170million spent last year and you can see the massive change a year can make.

That doesn't bode well for a massive transfer to occur, but fingers and toes are still crossed.

In League One, Wycombe have parted company with veteran Michael Duberry, while in League Two Damien McCrory has signed for Dagenham and Redbridge from Championship strugglers Plymouth.

3.45pm: As the deadline draws closer, there is still no news coming out of Carrow Road.

However, Canaries bitter rivals Ipswich could be close to securing Northern Ireland's record goalscorer David Healy on loan from Sunderland. Nothing has been confirmed yet however.

With not a lot happening is the top divisions, the lower leagues are the hive of activity.

Chesterfield have signed Danny Boshell and Adam Rundle after their release form Grimsby and Rochdale respectively. Hayes and Yeading have brought in QPR defender Ed Hayes, while Scunthorpe winger Peter Winn has moved to Gateshead.

3.30pm: So here we are. 90 minutes to go until it's all over. No movers or shakers for Norwich City just yet.

Leon Best has completed his move from Coventry City to Newcastle United though.

Apparently Pompey are considering reporting Stoke and Asmir Begovic's agent to the FA after the Potters tried to buy him. I guess that one will run and run.

Nyron Nosworthy is apparently close to switching to Sheffield United from Sunderland, while Fulham defender Toni Kallio is also being linked with a loan switch to the Blades.

Sunderland are now being linked with a move for Pompey's David James. Will Pompey have any players left by 5pm?

3.10pm: With little more than 90 minutes until the window closes, things are hotting up - except at Carrow Road.

Nothing doing there, but down at Portman Road, Tamas Priskin and Alex Bruce have gone out on loan until the end of the season to QPR and Leicester City respectively.

Reports are suggesting that Middlesbrough have accepted a bid from Manchester City for Adam Johnson. Whether they will then move for Hoolahan, only time will tell.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's Jack Cork has joined Burnley on loan for the rest of the season.

3pm: No news continues to be good news for Norwich City with speculation about a possible switch for Wes Hoolahan dying down.

There's plenty still happening elsewhere though.

Striker Daniel Cousin has left Premier League Hull to join Greek side Larissa on loan until the end of the season.

In the Championship, Preston North End have raided Doncaster Rovers to sign their skipper Martin Woods according to reports.

Former Canaries loanee Troy Archibald-Henville has turned his temporary deal at Exeter City into a permanent one from Tottenham Hotspur, while another transfer in League One has seen winger Kevin McLeod join Wycombe from Brighton on a free.

One move we hadn't mentioned was Marcus Bent joining QPR on loan from Birmingham - his 13th professional club.

2.30pm: Still no news coming from Carrow Road with most speculation so far coming to nothing.

There is a lot going on in the Championship however, with Doncaster securing the signing of Shelton Martis from West Brom for an undisclosed fee.

According to reports, forward Filipe Teixera is reportedly on his was out of the Midlands club and will join Jay Rodriguez of Burnley in joining Barnsley.

In the Premier League, cash-stricken Portsmouth have apparently rejected a �3million big from Stoke for Asmir Begovic.

Spurs were also interested in the goalkeeper but no news has surfaced regarding that. The latest news coming from White Hart Lane is that they are still looking to offload striker Roman Pavlyuchenko, with Birmingham still interested.

2:00pm: Silence is golden at Norwich City as nothing of note is happening. Seems that the Hoolahan switch has lost momentum, but there is still time for that to change.

One of City's closest rivals Charlton have also been busy after bringing striker Akpo Sodje back to the club from Sheffield Wednesday.

In the Premier League, it seems that West Ham are now the team to keep an eye on, with striking options apparently the key for manager Gianfranco Zola.

Benni McCarthy has completed his switch to the Hammers, while the club is still in talks with Ilan, who has been officially released by his club, St Etienne. Egyptian striker Mido is also undergoing negotiations with the club.

Elsewhere, Burnley have extended the loan of David Nugent to the end of the season, with Portsmouth also apparently close to signing Manuel Fernandes on loan from Valencia.

1.30pm: With no fresh news coming from Carrow Road, other than the release of winger Simon Whaley, attentions turn to Norwich City's fellow League One sides.

Strugglers Wycombe have captured veteran midfielder Gareth Ainsworth from QPR after his release from the club, while Oldham have confirmed the signing of Millwall striker Jason Price on a one-month loan.

Nicky Shorey's loan move to Fulham has gone through, while McDonald Mariga's supposed move to Manchester City has fallen through due to problems in obtaining a work permit. Looks like Adam Johnson could be back on the cards then.

Another deal to be completed is that of defender Kyle Naughton from Spurs to Middlesbrough on a loan deal until the end of the season.

1:00pm: With news filtering through that Hull have rejected the �5million offer for Stephen Hunt from Wolves, Wes Hoolahan looks like he may be staying with Norwich City.

No doubt there will be further updates throughout the afternoon on this saga, which we shall keep you posted on.

Tottenham's bid for Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach has also been rejected, while Blackburn are looking to bolster their striking options further with a move for Lens front man Aruna Dindane.

Fulham have also continued their assault on the deadline day with an apparent bid for Stoke City striker James Beattie, while Brazilian player Ilan is believed to have arrived at West Ham to complete his move to the east London club.

12.30pm: All is quiet on the Hoolahan front, with any possible bid seeming to be reliant on Stephen Hunt's proposed move to Wolves.

Meanwhile, Ipswich are believed to have agreed to let defender Alex Bruce join Leicester in a loan deal until the end of the season.

Premiership big-spenders Manchester City are reportedly close to securing the signature of McDonald Mariga from Parma.

This puts Adam Johnson's supposed move to the club from north east club Middlesbrough in considerable doubt.

In the Championship, QPR have swooped for Birmingham striker Marcus Bent on loan, while West Brom have captured Andwele Slory from Feyenoord on a free transfer.

12.00pm: Still no real news to report from Norwich City, with rumours flying about all over the place concerning the future of forward Wes Hoolahan.

Various Premier League clubs are rumoured to be interested, with Hull the main contenders in a reported �2.5million bid - we'll keep you updated.

Latest updates from the Premier League indicate that Manchester City forward Benjani is in talks with Blackburn Rovers over a possible move to the north west club.

The Zimbabwean could be a replacement for Benni McCarthy, who is expected to complete his move to West Ham later today.

Liverpool have reportedly agreed to offload promising defender Christopher Buchtmann to Fulham, in a deal worth �100,000.

The Cottagers have also apparently swooped for Aston Villa left back Nicky Shorey in a loan move.

11:30am: It's been a busy transfer deadline day so far, but not much happening at Carrow Road.

We're waiting to see if Jamie Cureton will leave on loan or on a permanent deal, but it's all quiet.

In the Premier League, Victor Moses has confirmed his move to Wigan from administration-hit Crystal Palace on a three and a half year deal.

Roma striker Stefano Okaka has joined Fulham on a six-month loan deal, while their forward Diomansy Kamara has joined Celtic on loan for six months.

Wolves have reportedly bid �5m for Hull midfielder Stephen Hunt, while Spurs have bid �2m for Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach.

Spurs right-back Alan Hutton is talking to Sunderland about a loan switch, while Kyle Naughton is speaking to Middlesbrough about a temporary move to the Riverside.

In the Championship, Coventry's top scorer Leon Best is speaking with leaders Newcastle about a switch to the north east.
