Wroxham will be hoping to build on their solid start to the season when they travel to former Yachtsmen boss David Batch's AFC Sudbury this evening.

A 1-1 draw with Ware in their opener on Saturday produced many positives for manager Stewart Larter to draw from as his side face one of the favourites to go up in what promises to be a tough encounter.

Remy Gordon's opener was cancelled out by Kieran Bishop's 71st minute equaliser in the weekend's game, but a disallowed goal and a deflected effort off the post left Wroxham feeling hard done by not to claim all three points.

Sudbury on the other hand cruised to an opening day victory and looked in imperious form as they demolished Cray Wanderers 5-1, with two goals from Michael Shinn and a debut strike from former Lowestoft striker Jake Reed helping them along the way.

Two tight games between the teams last season saw Batch's men come out on top on both occasions – the first after coming from two goals down to snatch a late 3-2 victory, with the other coming courtesy of a 90th minute Jack Cawley winner in February.

Wroxham welcome back Nathan Stone - the striker completing his two-game ban against Ware that was carried on from last term with Gorleston – whilst Jamie Forshaw will be hoping to keep his starting berth and line up against his former employees.

Dereham Town will be looking to bounce back immediately from their disappointing defeat at Chatham when they welcome Aveley.

The Magpies lost their curtain-raiser 3-1 at Chatham – even though the hosts had a man sent off. Boss Matt Henman admitted it was a disappointing day all round for the Aldiss Park outfit. So he'll be looking for a response in Norfolk come 7.45pm.
