Norfolk Under 11 boys' team of Brady Mackenzie (East Anglia), George Pinkstone (Fakenham) and Gabriel Escalera (East Anglia) travelled to the National Squash Centre in Manchester to take part in this year's Inter County Championships.

This was the first time the boys had represented their county and although they all acquitted themselves well they found the opposition just too strong. Matches were the best of three games.

Their first opponents, Warwickshire, were a strong team who won 6-1 despite Mackenzie, who is the Norfolk Under 11 and Under 13 champion, taking a game and only losing the third game 11-8. Kent were able to field two nationally ranked boys in their team and it was no surprise that they came out on top 6-0.

In the final group game against Sussex, the boys narrowly lost 5-3, and were then beaten 2-1 by Worcestershire in the 16th place game .
