The title race could still go to the final day in the Almary Green Anglian Combination Premier Division after title rivals Spixworth and Harleston both won.
Two goals from Daniel Barraclough were added to by Scott Woodgate and James Page as leaders Spixworth beat Norwich Ceyms 4-0 in their final match at Crostwick Lane last night, ahead of a potential move to the FDC in Bowthorpe.
Harleston remain eight points behind though after a 2-1 home win over Kirkley & Pakefield Reserves. Should Adam Gusterson's team win their two games in hand, at home to Waveney and away at Cromer, that would tee up an exciting home title decider against Spixworth on Saturday, May 6.
Elsewhere, Caister dismantled bottom side Cromer, winning 11-0 at home. Third-placed Acle United were held to a 0-0 draw by Long Stratton, Mulbarton won 3-1 at St Andrews and Stalham edged a seven-goal thriller at home to Reepham.
