Norfolk have been given a huge boost ahead of the Eastern Counties Foursomes at Seacroft with the news that talented youngster Toby Briggs is available to play.

The England youth international has a packed golfing schedule these days, with commitments both at home and abroad, but he is free to compete at the Lincolnshire course at the weekend.

The popular two-day event will see Norfolk take on the top amateurs from across East Anglia and the East Midlands, so Briggs' inclusion is welcome to say the least.

Skipper Kevin Webb, whose side lost their opening Anglian League match 6½-5½ to Northamptonshire, has named a 10-strong squad. The one big miss is England international Jack Yule who will be playing abroad.

Squad: Simon Clark, Iain Yule, Thomas Nudd, Toby Brigs, Dylan Green, James Flesher, Tom Beasley, Warren Bates, Josh Weeds, Giles Evans.
