Holt could feel well pleased with themselves having achieved a good, workmanlike win, with five points putting them in fifth position.
Holt played into the wind for the first half but still led 12-3, with Jarry-Ryan running in to score a well taken try before doubling his tally just before the break, with Allen adding the conversion.
The visitors increased their lead through an Allen penalty and another try was soon added when Wright burst through to score under the posts, making the conversion a formality for Allen.
It was no surprise when Wright scored his second try following a push over, Allen again converting.
Thurston replied with a converted try but Holt were well clear by then.
