Gorleston remain firmly in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division title race thanks to a 3-1 win over leaders Hadleigh.
Nathan Stone bagged a brace and Christy Finch got the other goal for the Greens, who are four points off top spot with a game in hand.
At the other end of the table Thetford's hopes of survival suffered a hammer blow as they lost out to fellow strugglers Wivenhoe 2-1. Diss are fourth from bottom after FC Clacton leapfrogged the Tangerines thanks to a 3-0 win. Norwich United had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to Walsham-le-Willows despite Matt Blake's goal whilst Kirkley & Pakefield played out a goalless draw against Mildenhall.
In Division One Fakenham dropped to fourth after a 4-3 defeat at Saffron Walden. Ashley Jarvis' brace and Josh Youngs wasn't enough for the Ghosts, who dropped a place after Halstead picked up a point in a 0-0 draw at Great Yarmouth. Swaffham Town's hopes of promotion were boosted as Alex Vincent's goal was enough to see off Whitton whilst Matt Calvert's penalty earned Downham victory over Stowmarket.
