Norwich United extended their lead at the top of the Premier Division table to eight points thanks to a 4-2 win over Gorleston.
The Planters followed up their FA Vase success at Ashford with an excellent team performance against a plucky Greens side.
Ben Thompson's hat-trick did the damage for Damian Hilton's side with Matt Daniels also on target whilst Gorleston's goals came through Keegan Middleton and Aaron Taylor.
Managerless Kirkley & Pakefield did Norwich a favour by holding second-placed Godmanchester to a 1-1 draw at Walmer Road. Tom Meecham had put the visitors in front in the first half but Ross Gilfedder's 51st-minute strike ensured the Royals gained a share of the spoils.
Kirkley are expected to announce their new boss this week after working through a shortlist of eight candidates.

Swaffham maintained their promotion hopes with an 8-2 hammering of Stowmarket in the First Division. Alex Vincent set the Pedlars on their way with a 25-yard effort before he doubled his tally with a composed finish. Stowmarket pulled one back before Nick Castellan restored Swaffham's two-goal advantage. Vincent then completed his hat-trick before half-time to ensure the visitors went in at the break firmly in charge.
Swaffham really kicked on in the second half as Mark Allibone made it 5-1 with a long-range effort before Vincent grabbed his fourth of the afternoon.
Joe Jackson made it 7-1 with a fine solo effort and second-half substitute Rory Harper completed the rout. Stowmarket gained a late consolation but it didn't matter with Swaffham now 10 points off leaders Long Melford with five games in hand.
Great Yarmouth Town also have promotion aspirations of their own after a 3-2 win over Cornard.
The Bloaters had to do it the hard way though, coming from 2-0 down to take all three points thanks to goals from Jason Thompson, Jay Turner and Mitch Forbes. The victory puts Ricci Butler's men in fifth place in the table, just a point behind Swaffham, who have played one game less.
Pat Yates was on target as Downham came from behind to draw 1-1 with Debenham.
