Gorleston boss Stewart Larter is urging his men to develop a killer instinct in their quest to win the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division.

The Greens sit second in the table, nine points behind Hadleigh United, but crucially have two games in hand. And even though the Emerald Park outfit have won their last three matches, Larter is keen for the title chasers to start taking more of their chances.

He said: 'Against Wivenhoe recently we were 2-0 up, we conceded a goal and all of a sudden the momentum changes.

'Then all it takes is a bit of quality, a set piece, or a deflection. It can go from being comfortable to maybe dropping two points. We've got two of the top three goalscorers (Christy Finch and Nathan Stone) in the league, and they've been absolute fantastic, but as a team our chances to goals ratio has not been probably quite as high this season as it was last.'

Gorleston host CRC today. Elsewhere, Kirkley & Pakefield visit Brantham Athletic, Thetford Town travel to Brightlingsea, Diss Town host Stanway while Norwich United travel to Godmanchester Rovers.

In the First Division, Great Yarmouth Town travel to Haverhill Borough and Downham Town are at Team Bury. March Town United visit Debenham LC in the First Division Knockout Cup first round, Fakenham Town host Dereham Town Reserves and Swaffham Town entertain Ipswich Wanderers.
