Jack Wright from Thorpe St Andrew, in Norwich, has just become an EKKA National Karate Champion.
The youngster beat the best in the 5ft 2in to 5ft 8in black belt section during the competition, held at St Josephs College in Ipswich.
Along the way, Wright managed to beat Mitchell Priestley – who represents England – by 2-0.
Fourteen-year-old Wright trains at Norwich's Black Belt Acadamy, on Bull Close, which is run by former world champion Richard Vince.
