Cats whiskers and damsel nymphs or lures have still been the most popular flies to try, but skinny black buzzers and bloodworms have all still managed to take fish. On windy days fish have actually been caught on dries, although the margins have tended to be the hot spots for surface activity. The lake remains open but will close shortly due to bank maintenance and widening.

Larkwood trout fishery 01284 728612. The rod average stands at 4.2 fish per angler. Larkwood regular Brain Keytes took three big fish 13lb 2oz, 7�lb and 12lb. Brain also released 13 other fish.
