Thetford will be aiming to clinch the Eastern Counties One title with two games to spare tomorrow.
They travel to mid-table Thurston 10 points clear of closest rivals Wymondham with a vastly superior points difference, so a maximum haul in Suffolk would guarantee top spot.
Wymondham will be more interested in keeping their noses in front of third placed Crusaders, who are now just one point adrift of their neighbours. The Red and Blacks entertain fifth placed Woodbridge tomorrow looking to improve on a record of just one win in three – ironically against Thetford – while their rivals also have home advantage against Ipswich YM.
At the other end of the table Swaffham must win at Colchester III to stand a realistic chance to avoiding a bottom placed finish while Beccles, the side above them, are are at home to Newmarket. The other match in this section sees Wisbech host Bury St Edmunds III.
