Swardeston-CEYMS beat Garboldisham by 27 runs in the final of the Frankly Digital Norfolk Alliance Andy Seeley Under-15 Trophy at Great Melton on Tuesday.

Batting first, Swardeston's innings was built around Callum Taylor, who fired 71 before being caught in the deep. Matthew Taylor added a quick-fire 35 as Swardeston posted an imposing 162 for four from their 20 overs.

Tom Constance (two for 25) was the most successful Garboldisham bowler.

Dan Taylor (32) made a brisk start in the Garboldisham reply as he helped them reach 41 after just four overs. After he was dismissed by man-of-the-match Callum Taylor, Sam Baker top scored with 35, but Garboldisham fell behind the required rate and finished on 135 for five.

In the Terry Moore U11 final, Great Witchingham beat Vauxhall Mallards by 52 runs at Garboldisham.

Witchingham batted first in the eight-a-side pairs format and posted 321 for four (net 301). Dan Arnold top scored with 17 and Toby Adams was the pick of the bowlers with one for 14 from three overs.

Charlie Nunn made a top score of 14 for Mallards, but they could only manage 279 for six (net 249). Charlie Rogers took two for eight from three overs, with man-of-the-match Arnold also claiming two wickets.
