Gary Setchell's King's Lynn Town side ended their July pre-season fixtures with a 1-0 win over Brackley Town last night.
The Linnets continued on from their dominant 4-1 display over Sudbury Town at The Walks on Saturday with a bright start at St James Park, home of the Saints.
Lee Stevenson scored his third goal in two games for the Linnets just before the break and that proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Setchell's side are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Rugby Town for their penultimate friendly before the 2015/2016 Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division kicks off a week later against Merthyr.
