Steve heads Oddfellows field at Reepham

Club match returns have been impressive. Oddfellows winner at Reepham was Steve Johnson with 101lb 7oz, Matt McKewen was Costessey Crown's leader with 120lb 2oz at Wicklewood, beating Neil Reynolds with 120lb 2oz and Colin Reynolds, 103lb 14oz.

John Tink headed City Works with 108lb 5oz at Barford, Barry Brooks was Codgers' success with 105lb 11oz at Railway, and James Bensley weighed in a fabulous winning haul of 91lb 12oz of silver fish species at the Martham club pits.

On the specimen carp venues, Norfolk Catch 22 regulars dominated the news with a massive 46lb 12oz monster common netted by regular Steve Bowden. Scott Head bagged a 40lb 6oz mirror, Kevin Doe a 35lb 4oz common and Matthew Clarke a 30lb 2oz common. Taswood Fishery was in splendid form with a spate of specimens headed by a 32lb common for Larry Bourne and a 30lb 7oz mirror for Keith Chamberlain.
